SkillsUSA is a showcase of career and technical education students. More than 25,000 people including students, teachers and business partners are expected to participate in the week-long event.

The SkillsUSA Championships were held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in H. Roe Bartle Hall and Municipal Auditorium. Nearly 6,000 outstanding career and technical education students, all state contest winners competed in 94 different trades, technical and leadership fields. Eden Area ROP represented the State of California. I am proud to announce California Won the Gold Medal in the Crime Scene Investigation & Law Enforcement contest.

The State Champion Students work against the clock and each other, proving their expertise in occupations. Contests are run with the help of industry, trade associations, and labor organizations, and test competencies are set by industry.
